Consumer Behavior in Brazil: First official Apple Store to open in Rio

The first official Apple store in Brazil will be inaugurated in Rio de Janeiro on 15th February, the company said on its website on Thursday (February 6). The Apple Store will be the Brazilian Village shopping mall, in the Barra da Tijuca neighborhood, and is also the first company store in South America.

Apple announced in 2012 his own shop in the country. “We look forward to the opening of the first Apple Store in Brazil, where we have long-standing customers and hope to win many more every day. Currently, the stores of Apple products in Brazil – as A2U, iplace and iTown – are outsourced along with retail partners.

Brazil is the 15th country in the world to have an Apple Store. Currently, the company has 422 stores in the U.S., UK, Japan, Canada, Italy, Australia, China, Switzerland, Germany, France, Spain, Hong Kong, Netherlands and Sweden.
