About a month ago, some people I know made a short film. With a tiny budget and a tight timeline (7 days), they wrote/shot/edited a 7 minute film set on the outskirts of Shanghai. Then submitted the film (“Hidden Truths”) to the Doorpost Film Project and have recently been notified that out of all the entries, the top 100 films were selected to move to the next round.

Their film was one of them! The first round of selected films will be shown online at “thedoorpost.com” starting April 6. Only 10 films will make it to the final round.

The 10 finalists will be selected based 70% on the scores of Doorpost judges and 30% by online viewer VOTES. The voting period runs from April 6 to April 30 (U.S. time), so please sign-up on The Doorpost Film Project and vote for “Hidden Truths”.
